Tropical Plantation
The Maui Tropical Plantation is located off of Honoapiilani Highway in Wailuku. This is a working plantation which produces sugar cane, macadamia nuts, coconuts, pineapples, mangos, coffee, and much more. In the center is a botanical garden with a lake. You can take a train that tours the entire plantation, stopping along the way for a coconut cutting demonstration and information. The huge store/gift shop sells all of the products grown at the plantation. This is a fun place for families and couples.
