Lahaina has plenty to offer. There are many art galleries, jewelry stores, curio shops and other places of business. Many of Maui's finest restaurants are located here. You can't miss the huge banyan tree in the park downtown. Two of the islands main luaus are here and many of Maui's museums and cultural centers.

4th of July

The main festivities and fireworks for 4th of July are held in Lahaina. Front Street is closed for the parade as hundreds of people enjoy the many activities offered. The fireworks are displayed over the harbor with many locals and tourists relaxing in the park listening to the live bands. This is the only advertised 4th of July event on the island so expect a 2 hour + drive back to Kihei.

  Most businesses and attractions are off of Front Street. Take Shaw or any of the exits from the highway and turn left .

  There is 1 free parking lot (across and south of Banyon Tree Park) and many metered parking lots along Front St..
